The new SAP solution SAP AR Warehouse Picker (SAP Mobile Solutions) for Android offers you the possibility to execute your picking efficiently (Pick-by-Vision). With this app, you can conveniently display information (optimized in a head-mounted display) for certain tasks while keeping your hands free for physical work.

The new application communicates with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) via Smart Glasses, helping order pickers process their warehouse orders. Data is captured using integrated speech recognition software or by scanning, so that the order picker always has his hands free. At the same time, the Smart Device conveys the work instructions visually and via voice output. The order picker is supported by Augmented Reality technology, with the help of which additional information is shown on the display of the intelligent data glasses.

The goal of the SAP AR Warehouse Picker is to minimize picking time and reduce the need for additional end devices. In this way, the efficiency of companies is increased across divisions. In addition, the app is intended to support warehouse workers in all activities in the future, while at the same time ensuring greater situational awareness, efficiency, and safety at the workplace. The integration of Smart Glasses into SAP EWM will in future also be possible via the SAP Mobile Platform.
